Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using Domera.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Domera platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all users including building managers, property owners, tenants, and property management companies.
2. Service Description
Domera provides a digital platform for apartment building management, including shared expense calculation, payment tracking, digital voting, assembly management, maintenance request tracking, and document storage. The Platform is provided "as is" and we continuously improve its features.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. Building managers are responsible for the accuracy of building and apartment data they enter. One person may have accounts in multiple buildings with different roles.
4. Pricing & Billing
Buildings with up to 6 apartments may use the Platform free of charge, indefinitely, with all features included. Larger buildings receive a 60-day free trial, after which a subscription fee applies based on the number of apartments. Prices are displayed in EUR and may vary by region. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected.
5. Payment Processing
Card payments from residents are processed by Stripe, a PCI-certified payment processor. Domera does not store credit card numbers. Payment collection via the Platform is subject to Stripe's terms of service. Building managers may also record cash and bank transfer payments manually. Domera may charge a small application fee on card payments processed through the Platform.
6. Data Accuracy
Building managers are responsible for the accuracy of financial data, apartment information, and billing amounts entered into the Platform. Domera provides tools for calculation but does not verify the correctness of user-entered data. Voting results are calculated automatically based on ownership shares as entered by the building manager.
7. Limitation of Liability
Domera is not liable for decisions made based on Platform data, incorrect data entered by users, payment disputes between residents and building managers, temporary service interruptions, or data loss beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. Building managers may delete their building, which permanently removes all associated data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you retain the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
